Baked Vidalia dip
A warm & cheesy appetizer made with sweet Vidalia onions. I got this one from my mother, but I don't know where it originally came from.
In a large bowl, mix:
- 1 extra-large sweet onion (1 - 1.5 lbs), sliced into thin half-rings (about 2 cups)
- 1 c mayonaise (store-bought is fine)
- 1 c grated sharp Cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 1/4 - 1/2 t Tabasco
- 1/2 c grated Parmesean
- hot paprika (to taste)
